A celebration of the launch of the All-New Renault CLIO, a car 30 years in the making.

What we did

We were tasked with celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Renault CLIO whilst bringing more meaning to the brand’s longstanding tagline ‘passion for life’. So, we returned to the narrative approach that CLIO is famous for, with a contemporary love story about two lifelong friends. A story that celebrates not just 30 years of progress of the Renault CLIO but 30 years of progress within culture, society and life.

The film ran online and TV and was supported by OOH & digital showcasing the progress of the car’s features and technology.

What we learnt

The overwhelmingly positive public response to the ad reinforced what we already knew to be true – we are all captivated by the power of brilliant storytelling.
